Privacy Policy

HealingVisualizer is an Android and iOS app that provides ambient sounds and a mood visualizer. Sounds are played on the device from files bundled with the app, visuals are drawn on the device, and the operator does not run a server for the app.

Summary: There is no sign-up, sign-in or operator server. The operator does not collect names, email addresses, location or contacts, and even when the microphone is on, only the sound level is calculated on the device; nothing is recorded or sent. To keep the service free and improve quality, Google AdMob and Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) process the information below.

1. Information processed and purposes

Routines, mood settings and microphone values are never sent to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics. The Android playback notification (foreground service) only plays sounds bundled with the app and sends no data. In-app update and review prompts go through Google Play or the App Store.

Showing Google AdMob ads (to keep the service free).
Improving app stability and quality with Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
No marketing push notifications are sent.

3. Retention periods

4. Your controls and rights

Microphone: if you do not give in-app microphone consent or turn off the microphone permission in device settings, only the sound-reactive feature is turned off; everything else keeps working.
Opting out of analytics: turn off "Send Usage Statistics" in the app's settings to stop Firebase Analytics collection. Crashlytics crash reports are not affected by this switch.
Personalized ads and tracking: on Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in device settings; on iOS you can choose in the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt and under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Changing ad consent: where consent is required, you can change your Google UMP choice from the privacy options in the app's settings.
Rights requests: the operator holds no accounts or server identifiers, so it has no way to link SDK data to a particular user and delete it. Send access, deletion or other requests to gwangy.claw@gmail.com and we will explain the options available.

5. Processors and international transfers

We do not provide personal information to third parties except as required by law. The following provider's SDKs are used to run the service.

6. Security measures

SDK communication uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
The operator does not run its own database or server that stores personally identifiable information.

7. Children's privacy

This app is not directed primarily at children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. If we learn that a child's information has been processed, we will act under applicable law and provider procedures.

8. Changes and contact

This revision (September 14, 2026) reflects how the app actually works: microphone sound-level processing, the Analytics default and how to turn it off, Crashlytics always being active, and retention periods. We will post important future changes on this page before they take effect.
