SnackPlay Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and related data in SnackPlay, the mini-game app for Android and iOS provided by independent developer Glenn Yu (the "operator"), and what is deleted when.

Summary: In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Your nickname, profile image, device identifier and push token are removed from the server right away, and the account can no longer sign in. The remaining data, such as game records, is permanently deleted by a daily cleanup job once 30 days have passed since the request. If you cannot use the app, email gwangy.claw@gmail.com.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open SnackPlay.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Review the notice, choose a reason, and tap Delete account to confirm.

When deletion completes, the app also clears the sign-in information and game data stored on that device. Starting the app again creates a new account; previous records are not restored.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you have already removed the app or cannot open it, you can request deletion by email.

SnackPlay accounts have no email address or phone number, so accounts are located by nickname. To avoid deleting someone else's account, we may ask for additional details to confirm the account is yours. Once confirmed, the request is processed the same way as in-app deletion and we reply with the result.

3. What is deleted and when

WhenData
Immediately on request Nickname, profile image URL and the current profile image file uploaded to the server, the device identifier used for guest sign-in (Android: ANDROID_ID, iOS: identifierForVendor), push notification token, and the sign-in link identifier. The account is deactivated and cannot sign in again.
Permanently deleted after 30 days The account record without the nickname (platform, device model, OS and app version, creation and update times), game records, scores and statistics, anti-cheat verification records, attendance, mission, event, season and daily-challenge records, snack history, friend connections, guild membership, contribution and invitation records, feedback and reports sent from the app plus error reports sent automatically by the Android app, and sign-in refresh tokens.

For the 30 days before permanent deletion these records remain on the server, and there is no way to restore the account during that time. The records are no longer linked to a nickname, but scores may still count in rankings without a nickname. Permanent deletion is done by a server cleanup job that runs once a day, so data is removed on the first run after the 30 days have passed.

4. Data that is not deleted or is kept separately
