Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the PhotoFit app provided by its independent developer (the “Operator”) and describe the rights and responsibilities of the Operator and users.
Summary: PhotoFit is a free, account-free tool that edits photos on the device and may display advertising. Keep important originals separately and verify that each output meets your needs.
1. Service
- PhotoFit provides photo compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, metadata removal, saving, and sharing.
- There is currently no registration or in-app purchase. Google AdMob advertising may be displayed.
- Features, supported operating systems, advertising, and availability may change for quality, security, policy, or operational reasons.
2. Conditions and user responsibilities
- Users must comply with applicable law, app-store rules, and these terms.
- Users must have the right to process each photo and must not infringe copyright, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
- Compression, conversion, cropping, and metadata removal can reduce quality or remove information. Users should keep backups and inspect outputs.
- Users are responsible for confirming size, format, quality, and metadata requirements of any intended destination.
3. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal use or infringement of third-party rights
- Interference with app, advertising, or system security or operation, including creating invalid ad traffic
- Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or modification beyond what applicable law or open-source licenses permit
4. Intellectual property
Rights in PhotoFit code, design, marks, documentation, and Operator-created content belong to the Operator or their lawful owners. Users retain rights they lawfully hold in their original photos. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.
5. Changes and discontinuation
The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service for maintenance, security, external platform or SDK policy changes, force majeure, or other reasonable grounds. Material changes will be announced in the app or on a public page where practicable.
6. Disclaimers and liability
- The service is provided as available for general photo-editing convenience. The Operator does not promise acceptance by a particular destination, lossless output, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with every device.
- Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for loss arising from device or original-file management, third-party services, misuse, or circumstances outside the Operator's reasonable control.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
7. Privacy and advertising
Processing of information and use of advertising and analytics SDKs are described in the PhotoFit Privacy Policy.
8. Changes, governing law, and contact
The Operator may revise these terms as law or the service changes and will publish material changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes by discussion; unresolved disputes will be handled by a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
