Terms of Use

These terms apply to the SnapCaption app (the "app"). Installing or using the app means you accept them.

1. What the service does

The app suggests social captions and hashtags based on the photo you pick, the keyword you type, and the category, vibe and tone you select. All generation happens on your device, and there is no account or sign-in. On supported devices, an optional on-device AI may refine the wording.

2. Conditions of use and your responsibilities

• Generated text is a suggestion for posting, not a verified fact. Before posting, you must check its accuracy, suitability, the relevance of the hashtags, and whether it infringes anyone's rights.
• The app does not recognise the contents of your photo, so generated text may not match the picture.
• You are responsible for content you create with the app and publish.
• Some features (on-device AI, advertising) may be unavailable depending on your device, OS version and network conditions.

3. Prohibited use

You may not use the app to:

• create illegal, hateful, violent or sexual content, or content that promotes harassment or discrimination;
• invade another person's privacy, impersonate someone, or defame anyone;
• create content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other third-party rights;
• reverse-engineer or modify the app without authorisation, or circumvent or manipulate the rewarded-ad system.

4. Advertising and rewarded credits

• The styles included by default can be used without watching any ad.
• A locked special style grants a single-use credit only after you voluntarily watch a rewarded ad to completion and the ad SDK confirms the reward.
• Cancelling the ad, an ad that fails to load, a network failure or incomplete consent may mean no reward is granted. Even then, free features remain fully available.
• Credits are held only in the app's storage on your device, so reinstalling the app, clearing app data or resetting settings may remove your credits and local history. This cannot be restored.
• The app offers no purchases and no subscriptions.

5. Intellectual property

Rights in the app itself, its brand, screen design, caption templates and data belong to the operator. Caption text you generate is yours to use freely, and the operator claims no separate rights over that use. Because the same result may be produced for other users, exclusive use is not guaranteed.

6. Changes to and discontinuation of the service

Features, the way captions are generated, and the set of styles may change or be discontinued in response to operational, security or platform policies, or changes in third-party SDKs. Material changes will be announced in the app or on the store page.

7. Warranty and limitation of liability

The app is provided as it currently stands, with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of the accuracy of generated results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for loss arising from publishing generated results without review, from failures of advertising SDKs or platform services, or from the loss of local records and credits caused by deleting device data.

8. Privacy and advertising

Personal-information handling is governed by the Privacy Policy. Advertising privacy options can be reopened and changed at any time in Settings.

9. Changes to these terms, governing law and contact

These terms may be revised as the service or applicable law changes; material changes will be announced on this page or in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
