Terms of Service
Summary — These Terms govern the rights and obligations between the Operator and Users. Users use the Service properly, and the Operator makes reasonable efforts to provide stable service and block abuse. There are no in-app purchases; all rewards are earned through ads, gameplay, and missions.
1. Purpose and Scope
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and liabilities related to SnackPlay and PaletteWeather (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by an individual developer (the "Operator").
- SnackPlay: 12 mini-games (8 reaction/challenge + 4 learning), global rankings, Daily Challenge, Guild, Event, and friends.
- PaletteWeather: Real-time weather information and region-based themes.
2. Registration and Use
- Users may start instantly with a guest (device-based) profile without separate registration. A guest profile cannot be recovered after a device change or app reinstall, so please manage important records with care.
- Impersonating others or registering false information may result in restricted access.
- Withdraw via in-app "Settings → Delete Account"; data is destroyed within 24 hours.
3. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct
The following actions may, after prior notice, result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.
- Cheating: Manipulating scores or statistics, using macros/bots, using modified clients, or abusing the reward system.
- Inappropriate expression: Profanity, hate speech, discrimination, harassment, threats, spam, or false information.
- Reporting: Submit via in-app "Report" or to gwangy.claw@gmail.com. The Operator will review within a reasonable period.
- Blocked users are automatically excluded from friend, guild, and matchmaking searches.
4. Paid Services and Advertising
- The Service does not currently offer in-app purchases. Snacks and rewards are earned solely through ad viewing, gameplay, or mission completion.
- SnackPlay displays Google AdMob banner, rewarded, interstitial, and app-open ads; PaletteWeather displays banner and native ads. Ad frequency is controlled by server-side Remote Config.
- You can opt out of personalized ads in OS settings, and EU/EEA users can revoke consent at any time via AdMob's User Messaging Platform (UMP).
- Granted rewards, points, and tier rewards are not refundable for cash and not transferable.
- Rewards obtained through abusive behavior will be revoked without prior notice.
- If paid items are introduced, separate notice will be given and operations will follow Google Play and Apple App Store policies.
5. Intellectual Property and Content
All in-Service game design, code, images, audio, and text are owned by the Operator. User-entered content (nicknames, guild names, guild descriptions) is used solely within the scope of providing this Service and may be modified or removed after prior notice if deemed inappropriate.
6. Limitation of Liability
- The Operator is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or network failures.
- Damages arising from user negligence (leaked credentials, modified OS environments, breach of Terms) are excluded from the Operator's responsibility.
- The Operator is liable, to the extent permitted by law, for damages caused by their willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- For a free Service, liability for data loss, non-payment of rewards, and similar matters is limited to the scope provided by applicable law.
- The limitations in this clause do not apply to liabilities that mandatory consumer-protection laws (including the Framework Act on Consumers and the E-Commerce Act of the Republic of Korea) do not permit to be excluded.
7. Amendment and Contact
The Operator may update these Terms in line with legal or service changes. Material changes will be announced at least 7 days (or 30 days for changes adverse to users) before the effective date in-app or on this page; if the user does not express objection by the effective date, they are deemed to have agreed. Users who do not agree may withdraw.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute by email. If a resolution cannot be reached, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
